Even a cursory comparison of the Greek and Hebrew texts of Esther shows that the Greek differs in four important ways, having (1) a number of additions, (2) many omissions, (3) some basic inconsistencies with and contradictions to the MT, and (4) several explicitly stated religious concerns.
