God’s love does not find, but creates, that which is pleasing to it. That sounds like Yoda-talk, I know. But read it again, slowly if you have to, because that statement is solid gold.1 It was exactly what I needed to hear. That short theological quip whetted my appetite for more of the same goodness. A theological shift began in my thinking, and it came at a good time. I’d been intentionally shooing away a spiritual restlessness I’d felt for a while. Some might fairly call it cognitive dissonance.
