“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Rom. 8:26). As Christians, we are not rendered helpless. We have tremendous authority in prayer. We can stand in the gap and pray for yokes to be destroyed, blinders to be removed, and captives to be set free. We can intercede for the worst-case scenarios and watch the power of God change dismal circumstances.
