If the law were invalid, every Old Testament instruction would be invalid in the Church Age. If that were true, it would be evident from Scripture when early church believers stopped obeying the Old Testament and the Law and began using only the New Testament. That never happened. “We are not under the Law; but because that law is inspired Scripture, it is full of valuable doctrine and useful lessons for us.”16 A PERFECT STANDARD God has consistently set a high standard of behavior for His people.
