“We need each other” is a fundamental principle of the Kingdom. This interdependence is a good thing because it leads us to another discovery: God already has people at work in these vineyards. Often they are people of faith who have been quietly engaged in the business of helping others. A friend of mine who works with an urban ministry in a major city told me about a time when he ran into one of his homeless clients at a nursing home. When asked why he was there, the homeless man said, “I just
