Exclusivism is the view that salvation is limited to those who exercise personal faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Unlike universalists, exclusivists believe many—actually, most—people will be condemned to an eternity in hell. Unlike pluralists, exclusivists believe that hell will be populated by sincere followers of other religions.
