Scripture says that “iron sharpens iron,” that other “iron” is likely to be your spouse! We’re all unfinished products. If we spend our time looking for perfection in anyone outside of Jesus, we will not only be disappointed, but we will also spend our lives chasing a figment of our imagination rather than stepping into partnership. Unfortunately, we sometimes even treat Jesus the same way. He is perfect, but He never said life would be a rose-petal-strewn path. We blame Him, though, if life presents
