God is both the strong One who is able to deliver and the tender One who nourishes and satisfies. Unfortunately, the English word “Almighty” tends to communicate only the aspect of God’s strength and power. Some feel that the term “All-sufficient” would be a better translation. How can we communicate both strength and tenderness? It is a picture of blue jeans (toughness) and lace (delicate fabric “tatted” with tenderness). When we have financial needs, we pray to the Almighty, the God who is strong
