The story herein recounts the various pastorates in which Vines faithfully ministered the Word of God. Some, like West Rome, while not free of difficulties, were stories of one triumph after another. At West Rome Baptist Church, Vines moved from being an insignificant Georgia preacher to become a Southern Baptist pastor of renown. Other pastorates, such as Dauphin Way in Mobile, were tall mountains for the young minister to climb; but even in the most difficult days, Vines proved in his own life
