If we remain focused on how bad we feel, we will be unable to concentrate on the Savior. But focus on His greatness and you will find it impossible to dwell on your own painful circumstances. “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.…His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him.…He has satisfied the hungry with good things and sent the rich away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, mindful of His mercy” (Luke 1:46–47, 50, 53–54).
