and John are also said to be concerned for the poor in Gal 2:10; cf. Jas 2:1–13)—that Christians should care for the poor. Each of the three main tithes has been fulfilled in the New Testament. The Levitical tithe, the festival tithe, and the charity tithe are no longer binding on Christians because they are fulfilled. This is not to say that the New Testament has left Christians with no guide for giving. Far from this, the New Testament contains a plethora of principles that are extremely helpful
