Several things are included. First, our past sins are cleansed and forgotten. The Bible says, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12, see also Isaiah 44:22). I love that promise in Jeremiah 31:34 where the Lord promises, “I will forgive their iniquity and
