The thing you hoped would serve you pulls you into its service. What seemed like freedom ends up being bondage. The thing is not the problem; what you’ve asked of it is. This leads to a third word that lies at the foundation of this book. That word is glory. As I have written before, human beings are hardwired for glory. That’s why we’re so attracted
