Unitarians may also believe that Jesus was raised from the dead, which would further distinguish them from Jews and Muslims. Unitarians may accept the New Testament as divinely revealed scripture, but they reject the doctrine of the Trinity, the teaching that God exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.
