Media personalities have now become seething advocates of ideology, not truth. Their mantra seems to be: “State your position. Defend it regardless of whether it’s true or not, or even applicable to the situation. Argue to make yourself heard. Not because you have something to say, but because you have nothing to say.” Whether liberal or conservative, it’s equally distasteful. This is beyond partisan anything.
