hear God’s direction is the exact spot where this confusion gets so many of us in trouble. Have you ever heard that amazing verse from Isaiah that says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it’ ” (30:21)?
