Starbucks? Because the bank I had been working at prior to Starbucks fired me a week before Christmas. I shouldn’t have been surprised. Counting things isn’t one of my strengths. (My wife handles the finances at home, and my executive pastor handles the money at our church, so don’t be alarmed.) At this bank I kept giving people too much money—no joke. This wasn’t me being a gospel-centered banker … it was me being a bad banker. When I worked there, I always wondered why I had the longest line and why
