It is instructive to think of the Old Testament in terms of a photomosaic. The computer has made photomosaics common. Whether on jigsaw puzzles, posters, or TV commercials, we have seen the technique in which many small pictures (e.g., from the life of Lincoln) are arranged to make one large picture (e.g., a portrait of Lincoln).
