am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more” (Isa. 43:25). When you cry out to God for forgiveness, he doesn’t remember your sins. They are gone. Forgiven. Washed away. And forgotten. In the same way that the coal removed Isaiah’s guilt and sin, the blood of Jesus takes away ours.
