those who walked in a greater understanding of God’s ways, were those who pursued and experienced His presence. In the last chapter we saw Moses given an offer by God that he turned down. The Lord made available His promises, but void of His presence. Moses quickly responded, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here” (Ex. 33:15).
