Revelation 20:12–15
12 And I saw the dead, the agreat and the small, standing before the throne, and 1bbooks were opened; and another 2book was opened, which is cthe book of life; and the dead awere judged from the things which were written in the 1books, daccording to their deeds.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and adeath and Hades bgave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them caccording to their deeds.
14 Then adeath and Hades were thrown into bthe lake of fire. This is the csecond death, the lake of fire.
15 And if 1anyone’s name was not found written in athe book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
