PSALM 98

A Call to Praise the Lord for His Righteousness.

A Psalm.

¹O sing to the Lord a ^anew song,

For He has done ^bwonderful things,

His ^cright hand and His ^dholy arm have ¹gained the victory for Him.

^2aThe Lord has made known His salvation;

He has ^brevealed His ¹righteousness in the sight of the nations.

³He has ^aremembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;

^bAll the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

^4aShout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;

^bBreak forth and sing for joy and sing praises.

⁵Sing praises to the Lord with the ^alyre,

With the lyre and the ^1bsound of melody.

⁶With ^atrumpets and the sound of the horn

^bShout joyfully before ^cthe King, the Lord.

⁷Let the ^asea roar and ¹all it contains,

The ^bworld and those who dwell in it.

⁸Let the ^arivers clap their hands,

Let the ^bmountains sing together for joy

⁹Before the Lord, for He is coming to ^ajudge the earth;

He will judge the world with righteousness

And ^bthe peoples with ¹equity.
