Proverbs 30:1

1 The sayings of Agur son of Jakeh—an inspired utterance.

This man’s utterance to Ithiel:

“I am weary, God,

but I can prevail.

The man declares, I am weary, O God;

I am weary, O God, and worn out.

1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,

The man saith unto Ithiel, unto Ithiel and Ucal:

This man’s declaration: 

“I’m weary, O God. 

I’m weary and worn out, O God.

Thus says the man: I am weary, O God;

I am weary, O God, and am wasting away.

Thus says the man to Ithiel, to Ithiel, and Ucal:

1 These sayings are the words of Agur, son of Jakeh. He spoke them as if they came from God.

He spoke them to Ithiel

and to Ucal.
