Abraham called the name of that place 1The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord ait will 2be provided.”
Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven,
and said, “aBy Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son,
indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly amultiply your 1seed as the stars of the heavens and as bthe sand which is on the seashore; and cyour seed shall possess the gate of 2their enemies.
“aIn your 1seed all the nations of the earth shall 2be blessed, because you have bobeyed My voice.”
aSo Abraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived at Beersheba.
Now it came about after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, “Behold, aMilcah 1also has borne children to your brother Nahor:
Uz his firstborn and Buz his brother and Kemuel the father of Aram
and Chesed and Hazo and Pildash and Jidlaph and Bethuel.”
Bethuel 1became the father of aRebekah; these eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.
His concubine, whose name was Reumah, 1also bore Tebah and Gaham and Tahash and Maacah.
