38saying,

“aBlessed is the bKing who comes in the name of the 1Lord.

Peace in heaven and cglory in the highest!”

39aAnd some of the Pharisees 1in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”

Lament over Jerusalem

41And as He approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He acried over it,

42saying, “If you knew in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

43“For the days will come upon you 1when your enemies will athrow up a 2barricade against you, and bsurround you and hem you in on every side,

44and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and athey will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not 1recognize bthe time of your visitation.”
