Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.

¹The Lord is ^amy shepherd; ^bI shall not want.

^2cHe maketh me to lie down in ^†green pastures:

^dHe leadeth me beside the ^†still waters.

³He restoreth my soul:

^eHe leadeth me in the paths of righteousness ^ffor his name’s sake.

⁴Yea, ^ffthough I walk through the valley of ^gthe shadow of death,

^hI will fear no evil: ⁱfor thou art with me;

Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

^5jThou preparest a table before me ^kin the presence of mine enemies:

Thou ^†lanointest my head with oil; my ^mcup runneth over.

⁶Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord ^†for ever.
