Psalm 149
Praise for God’s Triumph
1Hallelujah!
Sing to the Lord a new song, c
His praise in the assembly of the godly. d
2Let Israel celebrate its Maker;
let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. e
3Let them praise His name with dancing
and make music to Him with tambourine and lyre. f
4For Yahweh takes pleasure in His people; g
He adorns the humble with salvation. h
5Let the godly celebrate in triumphal glory;
let them shout for joy on their beds. i
6Let the exaltation of God be in their mouths j
and a double-edged sword in their hands, k
7inflicting vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples, l
8binding their kings with chains
and their dignitaries with iron shackles, m
9carrying out the judgment decreed against them.
This honor is for all His godly people. n
Hallelujah!
Psalm 150
Praise the Lord
1Hallelujah!
Praise God in His sanctuary.
Praise Him in His mighty heavens. o
2Praise Him for His powerful acts; p
praise Him for His abundant greatness. q
3Praise Him with trumpet blast; r
praise Him with harp and lyre. s
4Praise Him with tambourine and dance; t
praise Him with flute and strings. u
5Praise Him with resounding cymbals;
praise Him with clashing cymbals. v
6Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. w
Hallelujah!
