11Your anger against them burns in me too, Lord, and I can’t hold it in any longer.”

Then the Lord said to me, “Pour out my anger on the children in the streets and on the gatherings of the young people. Husbands and wives will be taken away, and even the very old will not be spared. 12*Their houses will be given to others, and so will their fields and their wives. I am going to punish the people of this land.

Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord;

I am weary of holding it in.

“Pour it out upon the children in the street,

and upon the gatherings of young men, also;

both husband and wife shall be taken,

the elderly and the very aged.

Their houses shall be turned over to others,

their fields and wives together,

for I will stretch out my hand

against the inhabitants of the land,”

declares the Lord.

NIVNew International Version (2011)

But I am full of the wrath of the Lord,

and I cannot hold it in.

“Pour it out on the children in the street

and on the young men gathered together;

both husband and wife will be caught in it,

and the old, those weighed down with years.

Their houses will be turned over to others,

together with their fields and their wives,

when I stretch out my hand

against those who live in the land,”

declares the Lord.

CSBChristian Standard Bible

But I am full of the Lord’s wrath;

I am tired of holding it back.

Pour it out on the children in the street,

on the gathering of young men as well.

For both husband and wife will be captured,

the old with the very old.

Their houses will be turned over to others,

their fields and wives as well,

for I will stretch out my hand

against the inhabitants of the land.

This is the Lord’s declaration.

NLTNew Living Translation

So now I am filled with the Lord’s fury.

Yes, I am tired of holding it in!

“I will pour out my fury on children playing in the streets

and on gatherings of young men,

on husbands and wives

and on those who are old and gray.

Their homes will be turned over to their enemies,

as will their fields and their wives.

For I will raise my powerful fist

against the people of this land,”

says the Lord.

LEBThe Lexham English Bible

But I am full with the wrath of Yahweh,

I struggle to hold it in.

Pour it out on the children in the street,

and on the assemblies of young men at the same time.

For even husband with wife will get trapped,

the old with him who is full of days.

And their houses will be turned over to others,

their fields and their wives together.

For I will stretch out my hand

against the inhabitants of the land,” declares Yahweh.

KJV 1900King James Version

Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days. And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord.
