73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.”

73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

73 A little later some of the other bystanders came over to Peter and said, “You must be one of them; we can tell by your Galilean accent.”

73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.”

73 A short time later, some people standing there went to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of those who followed Jesus. The way you talk shows it.”

73 And after a little while they that stood by came and said to Peter, Of a truth thou also art one of them; for thy speech maketh thee known.

73 And after a little, those who stood there, coming to him, said to Peter, Truly thou too art of them, for also thy speech makes thee manifest.

73 After a little while the men standing there approached Peter and said, “It’s obvious you’re also one of them. Your accent gives you away!” 

73 After a little while those standing there approached and said to Peter, “You certainly are one of them, since even your accent gives you away.”

73 After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you are also one of them, for your accent betrays you.”

73 And after a little while those who were standing there came up and said to Peter, “You really are one of them also, because even your accent reveals who you are.”

73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter. “You must be one of them,” they said. “The way you talk gives you away.”

73 A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Surely you too are one of them; for even the way you talk gives you away.”
