John 7:53–8:2

53 Then they all went home, 1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.

53 And every man went unto his own house.

1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

53 Then the meeting broke up, and everybody went home.

1 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them.

53 And everyone went to his own house.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them.

53 And everyone left and went home.

1 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 But early in the morning he went back to the Temple, and all the people came to him, and he sat and taught them.

53 And they went every man unto his own house:

1 but Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

53 Then each of them went home. 

1 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Early the next morning he returned to the temple courtyard. All the people went to him, so he sat down and began to teach them. 

53 So each one went to his house.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 At dawn He went to the temple complex again, and all the people were coming to Him. He sat down and began to teach them.

53 Then each of them went home,

1 while Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and began to teach them.

53 And each one went to his own house.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Now early in the morning he came again to the temple courts. And all the people were coming, and he sat down and began to teach them.

53 Then each of them went home.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At sunrise he arrived in the temple courtyard again. All the people gathered around him there. He sat down to teach them.

53 Everyone went to his home.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and He sat down and began to teach them.
