16 After that, the people left Hazeroth and encamped in the Desert of Paran.

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.”

16 After that the people set out from Hazeroth, and camped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the people of Israel. From each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a chief among them.”

16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

16 Then they left Hazeroth and camped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 The Lord now said to Moses, 2 “Send out men to explore the land of Canaan, the land I am giving to the Israelites. Send one leader from each of the twelve ancestral tribes.”

16 And afterward the people moved from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”

16 After that, the people left Hazeroth and camped in the Desert of Paran.

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Send men to explore the land of Canaan, which I will give to the Israelites. Send one leader from each tribe.”

16 And afterward the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Send thou men, that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a prince among them.

16 And afterwards the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Send thou men, that they may search out the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel. Ye shall send a man of every tribe of his fathers, each a prince among them.

16 After that, the people moved from Hazeroth and set up camp in the Desert of Paran. 

1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Send men to explore Canaan, which I’m giving to the Israelites. Send one leader from each of their ancestors’ tribes.” 

16 After that, the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses: 2 “Send men to scout out the land of Canaan I am giving to the Israelites. Send one man who is a leader among them from each of their ancestral tribes.”

16 After that the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites; from each of their ancestral tribes you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”

16 And afterward the people set out from Hazeroth, and they encamped in the desert of Paran.

1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send for yourself men, and let them explore the land of Canaan, which I am about to give to the Israelites; from each tribe of his father send one man, everyone a leader among them.”

16 After that, the people left Hazeroth. They camped in the Desert of Paran.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses. He said, 2 “Send some men to check out the land of Canaan. I am giving it to the people of Israel. Send one leader from each of Israel’s tribes.”

16 Afterward, however, the people moved out from Hazeroth and camped in the wilderness of Paran.

1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses saying,

2 “Send out for yourself men so that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I am going to give to the sons of Israel; you shall send a man from each of their fathers’ tribes, every one a leader among them.”
