16 But the king said, “You will surely die, Ahimelek, you and your whole family.”

16 And the king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s house.”

16 And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.

16 “You will surely die, Ahimelech, along with your entire family!” the king shouted.

16 And the king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s house!”

16 But the king said, “Ahimelech, you and all your relatives must die!”

16 And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.

16 And the king said, Thou shalt certainly die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.

16 Saul said, “Ahimelech, you and your entire family are going to die.” 

16 But the king said, “You will die, Ahimelech—you and your father’s whole family!”

16 The king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s house.”

16 Then the king said, “You must certainly die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s household!”

16 But the king said, “Ahimelech, you will certainly be put to death. You and your whole family will be put to death.”

16 But the king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s household!”
