Revelation 14:1–5

THE LAMB AND THE 144,000

14 Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion,d and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.e I heard a soundD from heaven like the sound of cascading watersf and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was like harpists playing on their harps.g They sangE a new songh before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders,i but no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, since they remained virgins.j These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were redeemedF from humanity as the firstfruitsk for God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.l
