10 For the love of money is a rootA of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faitha and pierced themselves with many griefs.

11 But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,b endurance,c and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fightd of the faith. Take hold of eternal lifee to which you were called and about which you have made a good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
