EL PEREZOSO
Mira a la hormiga, perezoso,
observa su conducta y aprende:
aunque no tiene jefe,
ni inspector, ni gobernante,
*prepara en el verano su alimento,
en tiempo de siega almacena su comida.
¿Cuánto tiempo dormirás, perezoso?
¿Cuándo te levantarás del sueño?
Un rato de sueño, otro de siesta,
cruzas los brazos y a descansar;
y te asalta como un bandido la pobreza
y la penuria como un hombre armado.
