Lo vio el mar y salió huyendo,
el Jordán retrocedió.
Como carneros saltaron los montes,
como corderillos las colinas.
¿Qué tienes tú, mar, que huyes
y tú, Jordán, que retrocedes?
Montes, ¿por qué saltan como carneros
y ustedes, colinas, como corderillos?
Tiembla, oh tierra, ante el Señor,
delante del Dios de Jacob,
que la roca torna en estanque,
la peña en un manantial.
