Que el amor y la verdad
no se separen de ti:
átalos a tu cuello,
grábalos en tu corazón;
así obtendrás estima y favor
ante Dios y ante los hombres.
Confía plenamente en el Señor
y no te fíes de tu inteligencia.
Cuenta con él en todos tus caminos
y él dirigirá tus senderos.
No presumas de sabio,
respeta al Señor y evita el mal;
ello dará salud a tu cuerpo
y fortaleza a tus huesos.
