APRIETO Y LIBERACIÓN DE JERUSALÉN
¡Ay, Ariel, Ariel,
ciudad sitiada por David!
Dejen que pasen los años,
que ruede el ciclo festivo;
entonces asediaré a Ariel,
habrá lloros y lamentos.
Serás para mí un ariel;
te asediaré como hizo David,
te estrecharé con trincheras,
te atacaré con baluartes.
Hablarás abatida desde el suelo,
desde el polvo sonarán tus palabras:
tu voz fantasmal desde el suelo,
tu palabra mortecina desde el polvo.
