9xI pray for them: I ypray not for the world, but for them pwhich thou hast given me; for zthey are thine. 10And all mine are thine, and athine are mine; and I am glorified bin them. 11And now cI am no more in the world, but dthese are in the world, and I come to thee. eHoly Father, fkeep gthrough thine own name those hwhom thou hast given me, ithat they may be one, kas we are. 12While I was with them in the world, I fkept them gin thy name: those hthat thou gavest me I have kept, and lnone of them is lost, but mthe son of perdition; nthat the scripture might be fulfilled. 13oAnd now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have pmy joy fulfilled in themselves. 14qI have given them thy word; and rthe world hath hated them, sbecause they are not of the world, even as tI am not of the world. 15I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest fkeep them from uthe evil. 16wThey are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17xSanctify them ythrough thy truth: zthy word is atruth.
