Hear me, O Lord,

and listen to the voice of my adversaries.

Should good be repaid with evil?

hear what my accusers are saying!

Lord, hear me and help me!

Listen attentively to me, O Yahweh,

and listen to the voice of my opponents.

to avert your wrath from them.

KJV 1900King James Version

Give heed to me, O Lord, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.
