Revelation 18:13–15

13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls.

14 “The fruit for which your soul longed

has gone from you,

and all your delicacies and your splendors

are lost to you,

never to be found again!”

15 The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,

13 And cinnamon, and odours,

And ointments, and frankincense,

And wine, and oil,

And fine flour, and wheat,

And beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots,

And slaves, and souls of men.

14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee,

And all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee,

And thou shalt find them no more at all.

15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her,

Shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment,

Weeping and wailing,

13 She also bought cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, wagons, and bodies—that is, human slaves.

14 “The fancy things you loved so much

are gone,” they cry.

“All your luxuries and splendor

are gone forever,

never to be yours again.”

15 The merchants who became wealthy by selling her these things will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will weep and cry out,

13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, carriages, slaves, and human lives.

14 The merchants will say,

“Babylon, the good things you wanted are gone from you.

All your rich and fancy things have disappeared.

You will never have them again.”

15 The merchants who became rich from selling to her will be afraid of her suffering and will stand far away. They will cry and be sad

13 and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep; and merchandise of horses and chariots and slaves; and souls of men. 14 And the fruits which thy soul lusted after are gone from thee, and all things that were dainty and sumptuous are perished from thee, and men shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning;

13 and cinnamon, and amomum, and incense, and unguent, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots, and of bodies, and souls of men. 14 And the ripe fruits which were the lust of thy soul have departed from thee, and all fair and splendid things have perished from thee, and they shall not find them any more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who had been enriched through her, shall stand afar off through fear of her torment, weeping and grieving,

13 cinnamon, spices, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, wagons, slaves (that is, humans). 

14 ‘The fruit you craved is gone. 

All your luxuries and your splendor have disappeared. 

No one will ever find them again.’ 

15 “Frightened by her torture, the merchants who had become rich by selling these things will stand far away. They will cry and mourn,

13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, and frankincense; wine, olive oil, fine wheat flour, and grain; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and slaves and human lives.

14 The fruit you craved has left you.

All your splendid and glamorous things are gone;

they will never find them again.

15 The merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand far off in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, choice flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, slaves—and human lives.

14 “The fruit for which your soul longed

has gone from you,

and all your delicacies and your splendor

are lost to you,

never to be found again!”

15 The merchants of these wares, who grew wealthy from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,

13 and cinnamon and amomum and incense and ointment and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine wheat flour and wheat and domesticated animals and sheep and horses and carriages and slaves and human lives.

14 “And the fruit your soul desires has departed from you,

and all the luxury and the splendor has perished from you,

and they will never find them any more.”

15 The merchants of these things, who became rich from them, will stand far off, weeping and mourning because of the fear of her torment,

13 Cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense.

Wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat.

Cattle, sheep, horses, carriages, human slaves.

14 “The merchants will say, ‘The pleasure you longed for has left you. All your riches and glory have disappeared forever.’ 15 The traders who sold these things and became rich because of her will stand far away. Her suffering will terrify them. They will cry and be sad.

13 and cinnamon and spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and cargoes of horses and chariots and slaves and human lives.

14 “The fruit you long for has gone from you, and all things that were luxurious and splendid have passed away from you and men will no longer find them.

15 “The merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand at a distance because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
