27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star. 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

27 They will rule the nations with an iron rod

and smash them like clay pots.

28 They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!

29 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

27 ‘You will rule over them with an iron rod,

as when pottery is broken into pieces.’

28 This is the same power I received from my Father. I will also give him the morning star. 29 Everyone who has ears should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

27 and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; as vessels of pottery are they broken in pieces, as I also have received from my Father; 28 and I will give to him the morning star. 29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

27 Those people will rule the nations with iron scepters and shatter them like pottery. 28 I will also give them the morning star. 29 Let the person who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. 

27 and he will shepherd them with an iron scepter;

he will shatter them like pottery —

just as I have received this from My Father. 28 I will also give him the morning star.

29 “Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.

27 to rule them with an iron rod,

as when clay pots are shattered—

28 even as I also received authority from my Father. To the one who conquers I will also give the morning star. 29 Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

27 and “he will shepherd them with an iron rod; he will break them in pieces like jars made of clay,” 28 as I also have received from my Father, and I will give him the morning star. 29 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

27 It is written,

‘ “He will rule them with an iron rod.

He will break them to pieces like clay pots.”

I have received this authority from my Father. 28 I will also give the morning star to all who overcome.

29 ‘Those who have ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches.’

27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father;

28 and I will give him the morning star.

29 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
