Luke 22:40–41

40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” 41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,

40 And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed,

40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

40 There he told them, “Pray that you will not give in to temptation.”

41 He walked away, about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed,

40 When he reached the place, he said to them, “Pray for strength against temptation.”

41 Then Jesus went about a stone’s throw away from them. He kneeled down and prayed,

40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was parted from them about a stone’s cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,

40 And when he was at the place he said to them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and having knelt down he prayed,

40 When he arrived, he said to them, “Pray that you won’t be tempted.” 

41 Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

40 When He reached the place, He told them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” 41 Then He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and began to pray,

40 When he reached the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not come into the time of trial.” 41 Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed,

40 And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not enter into temptation.” 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw and knelt down and began to pray,

40 When they reached the place, Jesus spoke. “Pray that you won’t fall into sin when you are tempted,” he said to them.

41 Then he went a short distance away from them. There he got down on his knees and prayed.

40 When He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

41 And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,
