John 6:42–45
42 And they said, j“Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, 8“Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 kNo one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me ldraws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, m‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ nTherefore everyone who 9has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
