8 “But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?”

8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

8 But his disciples objected. “Rabbi,” they said, “only a few days ago the people in Judea were trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”

8 The followers said, “But Teacher, some people there tried to stone you to death only a short time ago. Now you want to go back there?”

8 The disciples say unto him, Rabbi, the Jews were but now seeking to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

8 The disciples say to him, Rabbi, even but now the Jews sought to stone thee, and goest thou thither again?

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, not long ago the Jews wanted to stone you to death. Do you really want to go back there?” 

8 “Rabbi,” the disciples told Him, “just now the Jews tried to stone You, and You’re going there again?”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now trying to stone you, and are you going there again?”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were seeking just now to stone you, and are you going there again?”

8 “But Rabbi,” they said, “a short time ago the Jews tried to kill you with stones. Are you still going back there?”

8 The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?”
