Jeremiah 50:18–19

18 Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:

“I will punish the king of Babylon and his land

as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 But I will bring Israel back to their own pasture,

and they will graze on Carmel and Bashan;

their appetite will be satisfied

on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead.

18 Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria. 19 I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.

18 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel;

Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land,

As I have punished the king of Assyria.

19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation,

And he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan,

And his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.

18 Therefore, this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,

the God of Israel, says:

“Now I will punish the king of Babylon and his land,

just as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 And I will bring Israel home again to its own land,

to feed in the fields of Carmel and Bashan,

and to be satisfied once more

in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead.

18 So this is what the Lord All-Powerful, the God of Israel, says:

“I will punish the king of Babylon and his country

as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 But I will bring the people of Israel back to their own pasture.

They will eat on Mount Carmel and in Bashan.

They will eat and be full

on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead.”

18 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. 19 And I will bring Israel again to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.

18 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will visit the king of Babylon and his land, like as I have visited the king of Assyria. 19 And I will bring Israel again to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and in Gilead.

18 “This is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: 

I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land 

as I punished the king of Assyria. 

19 I will bring the people of Israel back to their pastures. 

They will eat on Mount Carmel and Mount Bashan. 

They will eat until they are full 

on the mountains of Ephraim and Gilead. 

18 Therefore, this is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “I am about to punish the king of Babylon and his land just as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 I will return Israel to his grazing land,

and he will feed on Carmel and Bashan;

he will be satisfied

in the hill country of Ephraim and of Gilead.

18 Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land as I punished the king of Assyria. 19 I will restore Israel to its pasture, and it shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead its hunger shall be satisfied.

18 Therefore thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel,

“Look, I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land

just as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 And I will restore Israel to its pasture,

and it will feed on Carmel, and in Bashan,

and on the hills of Ephraim, and in Gilead

its hunger will be satisfied.

18 The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,

“I punished the king of Assyria.

In the same way, I will punish

the king of Babylonia and his land.

19 But I will bring Israel back to their own grasslands.

I will feed them on Mount Carmel and in Bashan.

I will satisfy their hunger

on the hills of Ephraim and Gilead.

18 “Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land, just as I punished the king of Assyria.

19 ‘And I will bring Israel back to his pasture and he will graze on Carmel and Bashan, and his desire will be satisfied in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead.
