Jeremiah 33:16–17

16 In those days Judah will be saved

and Jerusalem will live in safety.

This is the name by which it will be called:

The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’

17 For this is what the Lord says: ‘David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of Israel,

16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

17 “For thus says the Lord: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,

16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness. 17 For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

16 In that day Judah will be saved,

and Jerusalem will live in safety.

And this will be its name:

‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’

17 For this is what the Lord says: David will have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel forever.

16 At that time Judah will be saved,

and the people of Jerusalem will live in safety.

The branch will be named:

The Lord Does What Is Right.”

17 This is what the Lord says: “Someone from David’s family will always sit on the throne of the family of Israel.

16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby she shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness. 17 For thus saith Jehovah: David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name wherewith she shall be called: Jehovah our Righteousness.

17 For thus saith Jehovah: There shall never fail to David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

16 In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live securely. Jerusalem will be called The Lord Our Righteousness. 

17 “This what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel.

16 In those days Judah will be saved,

and Jerusalem will dwell securely,

and this is what she will be named:

Yahweh Our Righteousness.

17 “For this is what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel.

16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will live in safety. And this is the name by which it will be called: “The Lord is our righteousness.”

17 For thus says the Lord: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,

16 In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely, and this is what they shall call it: “Yahweh is our righteousness.” ’ 17 For thus says Yahweh: ‘A man who sits on the throne of the house of Israel will not be cut off for David.

16 In those days Judah will be saved.

Jerusalem will live in safety.

And it will be called

The Lord Who Makes Us Right With Himself.”

17 The Lord says, “David will always have a son to sit on the throne of the nation of Israel.

16 ‘In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell in safety; and this is the name by which she will be called: the Lord is our righteousness.’

17 “For thus says the Lord, ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;
