Isaiah 2:8–9

8 Their land is full of idols;

they bow down to the work of their hands,

to what their fingers have made.

9 So people will be brought low

and everyone humbled—

do not forgive them.

8 Their land is filled with idols;

they bow down to the work of their hands,

to what their own fingers have made.

9 So man is humbled,

and each one is brought low—

do not forgive them!

8 Their land also is full of idols;

They worship the work of their own hands,

That which their own fingers have made:

9 And the mean man boweth down,

And the great man humbleth himself:

Therefore forgive them not.

8 Their land is full of idols;

the people worship things they have made

with their own hands.

9 So now they will be humbled,

and all will be brought low—

do not forgive them.

8 Their land is full of idols.

The people worship these idols they made with their own hands

and shaped with their own fingers.

9 People will not be proud any longer

but will bow low with shame.

God, do not forgive them.

8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. 9 And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is brought low: therefore forgive them not.

8 And their land is full of idols; they bow themselves down to the work of their own hands, to that which their fingers have made. 9 And the mean man shall be bowed down, and the great man shall be brought low: and do not thou forgive them!

8 Their land is filled with idols, 

and they worship what their hands have shaped 

and what their fingers have molded. 

9 People will be brought down. Everyone will be humbled. 

Do not forgive them. 

8 Their land is full of idols;

they bow down to the work of their hands,

to what their fingers have made.

9 So humanity is brought low,

and man is humbled.

Do not forgive them!

8 Their land is full of statues of gods.

They bow down to what their own hands have made.

They bow down to what their fingers have shaped.

9 So man will be brought low.

People will be put to shame.

Do not forgive them.

8 Their land has also been filled with idols;

They worship the work of their hands,

That which their fingers have made.

9 So the common man has been humbled

And the man of importance has been abased,

But do not forgive them.
