Hebrews 3:3–4
Hebrews 3:3–4 — The New International Version (NIV)
3 Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4 For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — English Standard Version (ESV)
3 For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. 4 (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)
Hebrews 3:3–4 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. 4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — New Living Translation (NLT)
3 But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself. 4 For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — New Century Version (NCV)
3 Jesus has more honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. 4 Every house is built by someone, but the builder of everything is God himself.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — American Standard Version (ASV)
3 For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house. 4 For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
3 For he has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, by how much he that has built it has more honour than the house. 4 For every house is built by some one; but he who has built all things is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
3 Jesus deserves more praise than Moses in the same way that the builder of a house is praised more than the house. 4 After all, every house has a builder, but the builder of everything is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
3 For Jesus is considered worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder has more honor than the house. 4 Now every house is built by someone, but the One who built everything is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
3 Yet Jesus is worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. 4 (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)
Hebrews 3:3–4 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)
3 For this one is considered worthy of greater glory than Moses, inasmuch as the one who builds it has greater honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but the one who built all things is God.
Hebrews 3:3–4 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
3 The person who builds a house has greater honor than the house itself. In the same way, Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses. 4 Every house is built by someone. But God is the builder of everything.

3 For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house.
