Genesis 29:5–6

5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban, Nahor’s grandson?”

“Yes, we know him,” they answered.

6 Then Jacob asked them, “Is he well?”

“Yes, he is,” they said, “and here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep.”

5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.” 6 He said to them, “Is it well with him?” They said, “It is well; and see, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep!”

5 And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him. 6 And he said unto them, Is he well? And they said, He is well: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep.

5 “Do you know a man there named Laban, the grandson of Nahor?” he asked.

“Yes, we do,” they replied.

6 “Is he doing well?” Jacob asked.

“Yes, he’s well,” they answered. “Look, here comes his daughter Rachel with the flock now.”

5 Then Jacob asked, “Do you know Laban, grandson of Nahor?”

They answered, “We know him.”

6 Then Jacob asked, “How is he?”

They answered, “He is well. Look, his daughter Rachel is coming now with his sheep.”

5 And he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him. 6 And he said unto them, Is it well with him? And they said, It is well: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep.

5 And he said to them, Do ye know Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We do know him. 6 And he said to them, Is he well? And they said, He is well; and behold, there comes Rachel his daughter with the sheep.

5 He asked them, “Do you know Laban, Nahor’s grandson?” 

They answered, “We do.” 

6 “How is he doing?” Jacob asked them. 

“He’s fine,” they answered. “Here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep.” 

5 “Do you know Laban grandson of Nahor?” Jacob asked them.

They answered, “We know him.”

6 “Is he well?” Jacob asked.

“Yes,” they said, “and here is his daughter Rachel, coming with his sheep.”

5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban son of Nahor?” They said, “We do.” 6 He said to them, “Is it well with him?” “Yes,” they replied, “and here is his daughter Rachel, coming with the sheep.”

5 And he said to them, “Do you know Laban, son of Nahor?” And they said, “We know him.” 6 And he said to them, “Is he well?” And they said, “He is well. Now look, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep.”

5 He said to them, “Do you know Nahor’s grandson Laban?”

“Yes, we know him,” they answered.

6 Then Jacob asked them, “How is he?”

“He’s fine,” they said. “Here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep now.”

5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” And they said, “We know him.”

6 And he said to them, “Is it well with him?” And they said, “It is well, and here is Rachel his daughter coming with the sheep.”
